Fonts:
We have 12 fonts available for you. You can choose from these after selecting the appropriate engraving option.
Characters:
Please note that we are unable to engrave emojis. In the text field, you can choose from 4 different symbols: heart ♥, infinity symbol ∞, star ★, and a bullet point •.
Languages:
If you would like text in a foreign script, the engraving process will not accept font changes. We copy the text as displayed in the button and convert it into a static image.
For Arabic, Hebrew, and Persian text, we strongly recommend saving it as an image file, as text-only input often results in incorrect display. Due to the different left-to-right and right-to-left directions of these writing systems, characters may be arranged or saved differently than intended.
Size and placement of the engraving:
We adjust the font size to fit the piece of jewelry you’ve ordered, ensuring it looks balanced. We also split text that’s too long and engrave it across two or more lines. You can also add line breaks yourself in the text field.
We do not edit text that appears within graphics or image files. The motif is transferred as a whole and positioned accordingly on the available engraving area of the piece of jewelry.
If you are unsure, please feel free to contact us and we will discuss whether the included text will be legible on the piece of jewelry.
Uploads:
For each upload, you’ll find a guide in the upload section that explains exactly what’s needed to ensure a clean result. Please read these guides carefully so that your engraving turns out as beautifully as possible.
When creating a line art version of an uploaded photo, we’ll scale down the image as needed—especially if the available engraving area is small—to ensure the engraving is clean and clearly visible.
Preview of your engraving:
We would be happy to provide you with an engraving preview based on your request.
To do so, please send our customer service team the item number of the piece of jewelry and your desired engraving details.
Please note that we cannot provide an accurate engraving preview for footprints, paw prints, or fingerprints, as this would involve too much effort for a simple inquiry.
Diamond engraving:
Diamond engraving is colorless and creates a raised design by carving into the material with a diamond. For this, we use a specialized CNC program and a custom-built, high-quality CNC engraving machine.
Only the outline isengraved when using a thick font.
Horizontal & Vertical:
If your jewelry offers this option, horizontal engravings are engraved from left to right. Vertical engravings are always engraved from bottom to top.
Returns:
Please note that engraved jewelry is excluded from exchanges and returns and therefore cannot be returned!
